TCEQ Scrap Tire Regulations in Texas: What Businesses Must Know

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has strict rules about scrap tire storage and disposal. Here is what your business needs to know to stay compliant.

Why This Matters for West Texas

West Texas — including Midland, Odessa, Lubbock, and the surrounding Permian Basin — faces unique challenges when it comes to scrap tire management. The combination of industrial activity, agricultural operations, and vast rural geography means tires accumulate quickly and proper disposal options are not always obvious.

Tired Tyres Environmental Services was founded specifically to address this gap. We provide convenient, TCEQ-compliant scrap tire pickup and recycling services throughout the region.

Our Services

We handle all types of tires and rubber materials:

• Passenger & Light Truck Tires — cars, SUVs, pickup trucks
• Medium & Heavy Duty Truck Tires — semi trucks, commercial vehicles
• Farm, Ranch & Machinery Tires — tractors, combines, implements
